About The Lewis Golub MDA/ALS Clinic

The Lewis Golub MDA/ALS Clinic, at St. Peter’s ALS Regional Center, provides both medical care and an emotional support system to help maintain quality of life throughout the course of the disease.

With the generous philanthropic support of Price Chopper/Market 32, The Golub Family, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the clinic was established in the name of Lewis Golub while he was being compassionately cared for by St. Peter’s ALS Regional Center throughout his ALS journey.

The Lewis Golub MDA/ALS Clinic has allowed for expanded services at St. Peter’s ALS Regional Center, the region’s only medical and counseling service devoted exclusively to the care of patients with this fatal, degenerative neuromuscular condition know as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease.”
